Edy Tavares on Laso: “Without you it’s as if the crown of the shield is missing”

 After the dismissal of Pablo Laso as coach of Real Madrid , there were many reactions from within the squad itself, from players who had been under the orders of the coach from Vitoria and who, basically, were grateful for the moments they had spent with him .

Carroll, critical of the club, Llull, Rudy, Doncic …there were many signs of affection for Laso . But none as forceful as the one published by center Edy Tavares .

The Cape Verdean was hurt by the departure of his coach. Tavares wrote on Twitter: “I still can’t believe it, without you it’s as if the crown of our shield is missing but well as things are, today you can expect anything!!! Thank you very much for the call and the confidence that you transmitted to me to be able to return to Europe. WHITE LEGEND”.…

Tavares , in addition to thanking Laso for his confidence when he was still stumbling in the NBA, makes clear his feelings about the unexpected dismissal of the one who until recently was his coach. The phrase, ” without you, it’s as if the crown of the shield is missing ” is devastating about what the center feels about his former coach.…

Then, to avoid controversy, he clarified what he meant by the phrase “today you can expect anything”:
